MKM Open Studio Work Sessions

This is an ongoing Saturday Studio work time offered at my studio for my former students.
Not every Saturday will be available therefore it is important to check in with me about the date you are interested in.
The studio is available on Saturdays from 10am-6pm for use with your personal mosaic projects.

For those who are stimulated by working around others, it is a chance to work in my studio with a couple of other people.
I am there and available for general coaching or suggestion, not as an instructor. This is not a class, but more a chance to work alongside me in-studio and have me available for in-person questions.

I can provide thinset, buckets, tools, etc and hammers and hardies but artists bring all other materials for their own projects.

I can only accommodate 2-3 people at a time so it is necessary to reserves space if you wish to come.

Fee: $8 per hours you wish to work with a maximum of $50 for the full 8-hr day.

If interested in scheduling a time contact me at kruzline@gmail.com

My studio is located at "The Point" artist studio colony at the Hunter's Point Shipyard in the Bayview area of San Francisco.

I am in the Main Building 101-Studio 2404-see directions below

I advise having a car to get here. You can get here on Public Transportation but it can take quite a while to commute to and from. There is a security guard who will check you in at the entrance. There is abundant free parking and beautiful views of San Francisco and the Bay. It is a developing area of the city but is usually very peaceful on the weekends when artists find time to be in their studios out here. A great place to get away and focus on your art.

I have a small refrigerator if you wish to bring lunch items or feel free to leave the Shipyard and come back. There are not a lot of food options close by yet, but there is a small cafe, a Chinese restaurant, a Mexican restaurant and a Subway. Our building's water is not for drinking so I have drinking water or you are welcome to bring your own.

At this point, The Point is a still developing area and there is no internet at my studio, so you should plan to use your own on your phone, however reception can be spotty at times depending on your carrier and the weather.
