Celebrate the spirit of San Francisco’s LGBTQ2+ community at The Academy. This event features a collection of stunning 5x9” mosaics created over 18 months, each capturing local SF Drag Artists' soulful and expressive eyes. Created as a response to the rising threats against LGBTQ2+ rights, this exhibit is a love letter to our local "Heroes with Bling"—the entertainers, activists, and humanitarians who stand as pillars of strength and love in our community, keeping their eyes vigilant against the erasure of our past and present by ignorance and hate. The collection, representing 18 months of work, will be previewed on February 7, followed by a benefit auction, hosted by the fabulous Mercedez Munro on February 20. Proceeds from this event will go to Openhouse SF, TransThrive, Lyric, and the GLBT Historical Society, ensuring these organizations can continue their essential work.
